In our webinar, Surviving Canine Adolescence, we’ll go over why your dog is going through this stage of development and what you can do to help them succeed.
We’ll go over 5 steps to understand your dogs, reward good behaviors, and set them up for success so they don’t learn bad habits or get into trouble!
You will receive our workbook to take notes during the session with special worksheets to help you, and your dog, stay on track.
Can’t make the live session? No problem! The recording will be available for 2 weeks to webinar participants. This means your whole family can watch it too!
Live Webinar will take place via Zoom on November 28th at 5pm.
Intro to K9 Nose Work Mini Series

K9 Nose Work is a dog sport that utilizes all dogs natural searching and hunting abilities. Inspired by working detection dogs, this fun sport teaches your dog to hunt for their favorite treat or toy among a few boxes. Target odors are then introduced to make it even more challenging. As each dog progresses, more boxes are added. The search becomes more difficult when we take it outside, add different containers, expand to whole rooms, and even vehicles!
The structure of this class is such that each dog works independently making it a great option for any dog! Cost of this class is $85.
Class meets once weekly for 3 weeks at The Yellow Dogs Barn in Barrington NH, starting August 17th at 11am.
Puppy Basics Mini Series
Puppy hood is a time of playing, laughing, learning, exploring and growing (all too fast!). At this impressionable stage, building a trusting relationship is paramount too. That is why this class will be focused on a training style that is positive and fun. Using a clicker or marker word (yes, nice, etc.) to shape and reward appropriate behavior instead of correcting undesirable behavior. It is our belief that training should be fun for both dog and human. So let's grab our treat pouches and have some fun!
Class starts Saturday August 17th at 10 AM and meets once weekly for 3 weeks, at The Yellow Dog's Barn in Barrington. Cost of this class is $90.
Into to K9 Nose Work

Have you caught the K9 Nose Work bug? Think your dog has a strong sense of smell? Want to learn more about how to best introduce your dog to the wonderful world of this ever growing k9 sport? Join Certified Nose Work Instructor, Louise Daigle, in this weekly class on introducing your dog to K9 Nose Work. In this class we’ll discuss building your dogs drive to search and how to set up each search area to allow your dog to be successful. We’ll identify what motivates your dog the most (food, toy etc) and encourage them to search for that among containers in the environment. We will also discuss the many organizations that host trials for you and your dog to compete in to earn titles and, to just have fun! This class is structured so that one dog works at a time. Dogs not searching will be asked to be crated, behind a gate, or patiently waiting their turn. Please let us know if this may be an issue for your dog and we’ll do our best to accommodate. K9 Nose Work is great for all dogs! Retired agility dogs, senior dogs, newly adopted dogs, mildly reactive dogs, puppies and more! All dogs love sniffing which makes this a great opportunity to bond with your dog too! No prior training necessary!
