I have always been around dogs. Growing up always having a pup around made it the logical choice for me to start working with dogs professionally. By constantly being around a number of dogs I quickly realized how fascinating and unique each dog was. I went go on to start my own pet sitting and dog walking business. Through this work I met a little dog named Roxie who needed more guidance than a walk here or there. It is with Roxie that I decided to learn more about behavior and training to better help the dogs in my care.

Jake started his career with dogs in 2007 at The Yellow Dogs Barn, daycare and kennel. Here Jake managed the daycare yards insuring each dog was safe, and played appropriately. In 2010 Jake went on to open his own business, Jake's Pet Sitting, where he provided in home care for dogs. After becoming inspired to learn more about how dogs learn, he began shadowing dog trainers and from there he went on to become one himself. Jake now runs Red Pointy Dog full time with Louise, working to improve dog and human communication everyday.

Jake serves Strafford, Northwood, Barnstead, Barrington, Nottingham, Lee, Madbury, Durham, Rochester and surrounding communities in person and any location through virtual consultations.
